Service Description
The T3 Free test measures the amount of unbound (free) triiodothyronine hormone in your blood. Unlike T3 that is bound to proteins, free T3 is active and available to the tissues. This blood test specifically measures the level of free T3, giving a direct insight into the thyroid’s activity, unaffected by protein levels that might alter the total T3 reading.
