Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about lab testing at Quick Test Health Services

Do I need an appointment for lab testing?

No appointment is required! We welcome walk-ins Monday through Friday 7AM-6PM, and Saturday, 7AM-2PM. You can also book online if you prefer a guaranteed time slot.

Do I need a doctor's referral for testing?

No doctor's referral needed. We provide the physician's order for your testing. Please bring a valid photo ID and let us know which test you require.

How long will my visit take?

Most visits take 15 minutes or less. Check-in and payment take about 5 minutes, sample collection takes 2-5 minutes, and documentation takes another 5 minutes.

How quickly will I get my results?

Most lab results are available in 24-48 hours. Rapid tests (like drug screening) can be available the same day. DNA testing takes 3-5 business days.

Do you accept insurance?

We operate on a cash-pay basis with transparent pricing. We accept cash, credit cards, HSA, and FSA. This avoids insurance complications and keeps costs predictable.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Just bring a valid photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID). For legal DNA testing, all participants are required to present a photo ID. That's it - we handle everything else.

Do I need to fast before blood work?

This depends on the specific test. Cholesterol panels and glucose tests typically require 8-12 hours of fasting. Our staff will inform you of any prep requirements when you schedule or arrive.

How will I receive my results?

Results are delivered securely via email, phone call, or our online portal. For legal testing, we provide certified mail delivery. You choose your preferred method during check-in.

Are your test results court-admissible?

Yes, when a proper chain of custody is maintained. We offer both legal testing (court-admissible) and personal testing (for your knowledge only). Legal testing requires additional documentation and ID verification.

What types of drug tests do you offer?

We offer urine, hair, blood, and saliva drug testing. Tests can screen for 5, 10, or 12 panels, including marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, and more. Same-day results available.

Do you offer mobile testing services?

Yes! We provide mobile testing throughout the Phoenix Valley. Perfect for workplace testing, groups, or when you can't visit our facility. Minimum fees apply and vary by location.

Is my information kept confidential?

Absolutely. We follow strict HIPAA privacy guidelines. Your results are only shared with you (and parties you authorize). Our facility maintains complete confidentiality for all patients.

What certifications do you have?

We are CLIA certified (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) and work with AABB-accredited laboratories. Our technicians are trained and experienced in proper collection procedures.
