What's Included
Your blood is tested for testosterone plus the five tests of a full physical:
- Testosterone Free & Total with SHBG
- Complete Blood Count (CBC)
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)
- Lipid Panel
- Hemoglobin A1c
- TSH (thyroid)
Who it's for: Men with low energy, low drive or trouble building muscle, anyone starting or considering TRT who needs a baseline, and women whose provider asked for a testosterone level.
Already on TRT? The TRT Monitoring Panel adds free T, estradiol, PSA and more.
Why Choose This Panel?
Testosterone isn't checked in isolation by anyone who knows what they're doing. Low energy can be thyroid, anemia or blood sugar just as easily as low T, so this panel runs the full physical set alongside it. If testosterone is fine, you still find out why you feel the way you do.
One stick, one price, one report with everything on it. If the number comes back low, you have the baseline a provider needs before any conversation about treatment.
How do you test testosterone levels?
With a blood draw, taken in the morning. Testosterone peaks between about 7 and 10 AM and drops through the day, so a draw at 3 PM can read low in a man whose morning level is normal. Walk in before 10 AM.
The lab measures total testosterone, the standard first test. A low result is normally confirmed with a second morning draw on a different day before anyone calls it low, because levels swing day to day. At-home finger-stick and saliva kits exist, but a venous blood draw is what providers trust and what treatment decisions are based on.

What If My Result Is Abnormal?
A low total testosterone on one draw is a reason to repeat it, not a diagnosis. Illness, poor sleep, a late draw and some medications all push the number down. The second draw, morning again, is what confirms it.
If it's confirmed low, take the report to your doctor, an endocrinologist or any men's health clinic; it saves you their intake labs. If you want someone to walk through it, telehealth review is available here.
Testosterone test: fasting or not, free or total?
Testosterone itself doesn't need fasting. This panel includes a CMP and lipids, though, so come in fasting if you can; it keeps the glucose and cholesterol numbers meaningful. If you can't, you'll still get a valid testosterone result.
Total testosterone is the right first test and the one here. Free testosterone, the fraction not bound to protein, matters when total is borderline or when you're on TRT, and it's part of the TRT Monitoring Panel rather than this one.
How long do testosterone test results take?
One to three business days from when your sample reaches the lab. The testosterone itself is usually back within two days; the rest of the panel comes in with it.
We send results the same business day the lab releases them, by text, to your patient portal. Nothing is mailed and nothing goes to anyone else unless you ask.
