What is the 10-Panel Hair Follicle Test?
The 10-panel hair follicle test is the most comprehensive hair-based drug screen.
It detects 10 different drug classes over a 90-day window:

Standard 5-Panel:
-
THC (Marijuana)
-
Cocaine
-
Amphetamines (Meth, MDMA)
-
Opiates (Codeine, Morphine, Heroin)
-
PCP
Plus 5 Additional Classes:
-
Benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium, Ativan, Klonopin)
-
Barbiturates (Phenobarbital, Secobarbital)
-
Methadone
-
Propoxyphene (Darvon, Darvocet)
-
Methaqualone (Quaalude)
Lab visits take 15 minutes, and test results are sent to you in 3-5 days. Walk in today.
Why Choose the 10-Panel Over Smaller Panels?
The 10-panel test is the right test when both extended detection and comprehensive drug coverage matter. If you're screening for prescription benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium), methadone monitoring, or a comprehensive substance history for legal or professional purposes, the 10-panel catches what smaller panels miss.

The 10-panel covers everything in those tests, plus the prescription depressants and methadone.

Who Needs a 10-Panel Hair Follicle Drug Test
-
Professional Licensing Programs — PHP, FAA HIMS, nursing board, attorney compliance with prescription opioid history
-
Family Court & Custody — When prescription painkiller use is part of the dispute
-
Sober Living Programs — Opioid-specific recovery monitoring
-
Employers — Safety-sensitive roles where opioid impairment is a concern
-
Personal Recovery Verification — Self-monitoring during opioid recovery

10-Panel Hair Follicle FAQ
How is the 10-Panel different from the 5-Panel Hair Follicle? The 10-Panel adds 5 additional drug classes to the standard 5-Panel: Benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium, Ativan, Klonopin), Barbiturates, Methadone, Propoxyphene, and Methaqualone. It's used when comprehensive prescription depressant and methadone history matters.
Will my prescription medications show up on the 10-Panel? Yes — if you've taken any of the substances being tested in the past 90 days, they will likely show up. The test detects substances, not whether you have a prescription. Bring documentation if you have a valid prescription so you can provide context when sharing results.
